Peruzzi Ready To Help Ciro

One of Italy's best goalkeepers of the last 20 years, Angelo Peruzzi, is ready to lend Ciro Ferrara a hand at Juventus, according to Tuttosport.

The 39-year-old formally hung up his gloves with Lazio on May 20 2007 and has been working under Marcello Lippi with Italy over the last year.

Peruzzi made 208 appearances for Juventus between 1991 and 1999, winning three Scudetti and a Champions League.

Whether Peruzzi lands a spot on Ferrara's staff depends on whether his former teammate actually gets the Juventus job on a full time basis.

Ferrara took temporary charge of the Bianconeri on May 18 2009 after Claudio Ranieri was sacked with two games of the season remaining.

He did all that was asked of him, winning both matches and is now in competition with Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti for the top job in Turin.
