Marino: Napoli Would Consider Selling Santacroce To Juventus

Fabiano Santacroce - Napoli (Grazia Neri)

Juventus have been strongly linked to Napoli’s Fabiano Santacroce for a number of weeks now, although the latest reports suggest that there haven’t been any developments as the clubs are yet to discuss the issue at hand.

Having said that, what looked like only being a dream a few days ago could now turn into a reality, as the sporting director at the Partenopei, Pierpaolo Marino, has opened the door for Juve to approach his club.

“Juventus have never asked us for the player,” Marino affirmed in an interview with Radio Marte.

“If there was a proposal that we could think about, we would, but so far there is nothing for us to consider.”

There have been some signs recently to suggest that the talented defender is set to leave the Azzurri, as he has fallen out of favour with the new coach Roberto Donadoni.

The signing of Hugo Campagnaro from Sampdoria could move things along, as he is a very similar player to Santacroce, whilst the imminent arrival of Paolo De Ceglie from Juventus could also help to ease the deal.
