Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie could find himself staying in Turin rather than moving to Napoli, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Talks with Napoli over the Italian defender seem to have stalled and the report suggests he is unlikely to be sold by the club. Negotiations have rumbled on for weeks.

Last week a report in Il Corriere Dello Sport claimed De Ceglie had penned a deal with Napoli and that the Partenopei paid around €5 million for his services.

However, the latest details emerging from Tuttomercatoweb.com suggest the former Juve youth team star will be staying. A number of voices are now claiming De Ceglie could still be used as part of the deal to lure Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino to Turin.

The 22-year-old was a member of the Juve youth squad, before playing his first game with the senior team in 2006.

He was then sent to Siena, on a co-ownership deal, only to immediately return to the Old Lady the season after.
