Udinese director of sport Sergio Gasparin says Juventus will have to pay £14.5m if they want to sign Gaetano D'Agostino.
A deal for the 27-year-old midfielder went cold last week as both clubs could not find an agreement.
Juventus offered too little while Udinese wanted players in exchange.
“Their offer never even arrived at £8.5m. We hadn't even asked for one euro from the Bianconeri, but part-ownership deals instead,” Gasparin said.
“In this case Paolo De Ceglie, Sebastian Giovinco and half of Michele Paolucci and Claudio Marchisio for a total commensurate to D'Agostino's valuation.
“After Juve's refusal, the deal went on to economic terms and Udinese valued the player at £14.5m.
“When you sell D'Agostino, you lose a player who is unique in all of Italy, a player who is irreplaceable and forces you to eventually change the system.
“It's therefore the very minimum that the adequate valuation comes to be recognised,” Gasparin concluded.
