Sportevai.it reports that Juventus want to cut down on the excess stipends and for this reason they have decided to sell striker David Trezeguet.

Keeping Trezeguet would mean holding a highly paid player on the bench, as he is now considered a reserve to the likes of Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Therefore, the Bianconeri will be waiting for the best offer to arrive, with teams like Lyon, Arsenal and Milan all interested in signing him up, even though president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli is insisting on sending 'Trezegol' to Villarreal in a part-exchange deal for Giuseppe Rossi.

Meanwhile, Juve's official website has announced that Tiago is not for sale and will therefore remain in Turin for another season to try and finally prove his worth, something which he has only shown rarely over the past two years.

The player seemed destined to leave the club in summer, but coach Ciro Ferrara has opted to give him one more chance.

The Bianconeri have also made their first official sale, as defender Olof Mellberg has joined Olympiakos for €2.5 million.
