D'Agostino Will Probably Stay At Udinese - Gasparin

Gaetano D'Agostino - Sampdoria-Udinese - Serie A (Grazia Neri)

Not so long ago, it seemed as if Gaetano D'Agostino's move to Juventus was inevitable, but now it seems more likely that the player will stay at Udinese. The problem? The difference between Juve's offer and Udinese's evaluation of the player is just too big.

The Friulani want 20 million euros plus the co-ownership of a Juventus player, but the Turin giants don't want to pay more than 12 million.

Udinese sporting director Sergio Gasparin talked about D'Agostino's situation to Radio Radio.

"Juventus have not evaluated the player for all his worth," he said.

"All the transfer experts have said that D'Agostino has been one of the best playmakers of the league in the last two years and they say our price is right.

"Unfortunately, Juventus consider D'Agostino a good player, not an excellent player, like we consider him. Their evaluation of the player is far from the one we have and, at this point, I don't think there is a chance we can continue the negotiations.

"Unless we get offers that are adequate to our demands, D'Agostino will stay in Udine," he concluded.
